ich musste jetzt ein paar Tage pausieren. Hoffe, ich antworte jetzt auf den “richtigen” Teil in dieser Diskussion. Ich möchte sagen, das ich das extrem “angenehm” finde, das Ihr die Idee hattet, die Workflows nach unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeiten zu ordnen.
Ich persönlich würde eher noch Stempel oder ähnliche “Druckschrift” abtippen als handschriftliche Vermerke was komplexität angeht. Sütterlin oder kyrillisch kann ich nicht lesen - wobei ich jetzt jemand kennen gelernt habe, die Sütterlin lesen kann, vielleicht bringt sie es mir als eine Art “Fernkurs” bei. Klar kann ich Karten die evtl von jemand anderem gelesen werden können mit dem Pfeil “tauschen” und ein anderes Dokument aus dem gleichen Workflow bearbeiten. Aber kurz vor der Challenge waren zb 3 Workflows online (Mitte Jan) in denen ich jeweils ungefähr 20 Karten “erneuert” habe und keine einzige dabei war wo ich etwas lesen konnte.
Solange es für mich um “Abtippen = schreib was du lesen kannst” geht finde ich das auch okay, wenn von einem Dokument einfach mehr notiert werden soll (und die Erfassung “langsamer” ist).
Kann natürlich sein, das umso mehr erfasst werden soll umso mehr Felder in die Kategorie “unklar” fallen und dadurch für Arolsen und “Profis in der Recherche” mehr zu tun ist wenn wir (die Community) damit fertig sind. Da ist dann eher die Frage der Finanzierung - aber das ist eure Entscheidung.

I had to take a few days off. I hope I’m responding to the “right” part of this discussion. I’d like to say that I find it extremely “pleasant” that you had the idea of organizing the workflows according to different levels of difficulty.
Personally, I would rather type stamps or similar “printed text” than handwritten notes in terms of complexity. I can’t read Sütterlin or Cyrillic – although I’ve now met someone who can read Sütterlin, so maybe she’ll teach me as a kind of “distance learning” course. Of course, I can “swap” cards that may be readable by someone else with the arrow and edit another document from the same workflow. But shortly before the challenge, there were, for example, three workflows online (mid-January) in which I “renewed” about 20 cards each, and there was not a single one where I could read anything.
As long as it’s a matter of “typing = write what you can read” for me, I think it’s okay if more notes are to be taken from a document (and the entry is “slower”).
Of course, it may be that the more is to be entered, the more fields fall into the “unclear” category, and thus there is more work for Arolsen and “research professionals” once we (the community) are done with it. That then becomes more of a question of financing—but that’s your decision.
