What is the reason that some Russian prisoners are typed in upper case letters

do you mean the „category“ „RUSSE“? I’m not sure there’s a specific reason for it.

That is what I thought. Someone just used upper case letters. For some reason the word “Polit.” is not in upper case :slight_smile:

Perhaps the nationality was written in capital letters for a better readability/visibility.

I have seen it for other nationalities as well.
