How to write if the name Sara is the second part of a name. Not the second name. i.e. Liselotte, or Lise-Lotte. ?

Well, without the card its difficult to answer. But I had last year the problem of “Sara” (or Israel) as the only name. Then I asked here and was told that Sara can “simply” be a “real name” and not those “Names given by Nazi Germany”. So - in this case I would write the name like Liselotte. And just write it as it is written in the document. E.G. Eva Sara or Eva-Sara. Hope that make sense to you.

Nun, ohne die Karte ist es schwierig zu antworten. Aber ich hatte letztes Jahr das Problem, dass „Sara” (oder Israel) der einzige Name war. Dann habe ich hier nachgefragt und mir wurde gesagt, dass Sara „einfach” ein „echter Name” sein kann und nicht einer dieser „von Nazi-Deutschland vergebenen Namen”. don’t worry - when I started with ENC I did not know about the possibiltiy to share documents or was just unable to do it. Its just for future questions. And unfortunatelly we cant edit documents afterwards also. This discussions are mostly to learn or to make oneselves more comfortable /trust into ones work.

keine Sorge – als ich mit ENC angefangen habe, wusste ich auch nicht, dass man Dokumente teilen kann, oder ich wusste einfach nicht, wie das geht. Das ist nur für zukünftige Fragen. Und leider können wir Dokumente auch nachträglich nicht mehr bearbeiten. Diese Diskussionen dienen hauptsächlich dazu, zu lernen oder sich mit der eigenen Arbeit wohler zu fühlen und mehr Vertrauen zu gewinnen.
