I'm so glad

… to be part of this tremendously important project by now! I’m an archivist from Munich (we hold a lot of files about victims of the NS-period) and hopefully I can contribute my knowledge in reading-skills effectfully.

Personally I am interested in jewish history all around the world but mostly in Lithuania.

And now - let’s start working!

Dear @vilnius,

Great to have you on board, and thank you for your commitment to #everynamecounts. Your experience as an archivist and focus on NS-period sources will surely be valuable to our project.

Best regards,
Annabell

Hi Vilnius, and welcome to ENC.
Glad to have you „on board“. Do you work for the NS-Doku-Zentrum in Munic? I was there last year. It was a sad experience to see all those data and those documentations - but I was also very impressed about all those work which those people does there to document and archivare every item, personal stories and exponates.

Greetings from Munic (on holidays), Eva

Hi Eva, yes, the NS-Doku-Zentrum is kind a place of horror but so important at the same time. They do a great job in bringing this topic to a bride range of people. They re-opened just a few weeks ago, but you surely know :slightly_smiling_face:. I do not work there but in a state archive.
Enjoy your holiday !

Hi Vilnius,
yes, I heard about the terrible attack and the re-opening.
(And they really do a great job.)

Thanks, I had really good holidays.
Best, Eva
