In the field for departure location is often mentioned Wentorf USA or Wentorf Australia. What does Wentorf mean, is it a City? In Google I cannot find it

this refers to the Regional Processing and Resettlement Center “Wentorf”, near the city of Hamburg in Germany. If it is indicated on the map, Wentorf was usually the person’s last stop in Germany before emigration, e.g. to Australia or the USA.
