Predominance German language

First of all, I want to thank Arolsen for giving me and others the opportunity to identify many victims of WW II and do them justice as much as possible.

However, I also observe that the Forum is all in German, although I clicked on EN to have acces to the English version. Only the processing of the Stutthof/Mauthausen and Tracing documents seems to be in English.

Although I’m no native speaker, I personally have no problems understanding German, but I can imagine that other volunteers don’t understand words like „speichern“, „bearbeiten“ „verwerfen“, etc.

Am I doing something wrong or is there indeed no English version of the Forum and it’s use available?

Liebe Grüsse,
Carola

You can change the language in your profile settings. Under Einstellungen/Preferences you will find the Oberfläche/Interface section. There you can set your preferred language.
The default setting in the backend of the forum is currently German. Therefore it can happen that some fields or headings are only displayed in German.
I hope this helps you a bit.
