Could it be „KOWALEWSKI“ instead?

In the archive two Poles are listed that can easily be mixed up:

  • KOWALEWSKI, Antoni (prisoner number 8979 – like in this IPN card)
    DOB: 13.06.1896 / 17.06.1896 (?)
    POB: Rydzyna
    POR: Chodecz
    deceased 26.08.1940 in Mauthausen (death certificate)
    Here his date of birth is corrected to 17.06.1896
