Just to say we’re working on the archive here in Britain to make our small contribution to the Every Name Counts project.
It seems very straightforward and it’s an interesting set of records. Fascinating to see many of the same ship names that I see in records of refugee movements from the UK to the USA and Canada before the war.

Some ancestors of my family on my mother’s side from Lübeck/Germany also emigrated to the USA before the war with one of these ships.
