MtL - Mapping the Lives - according to this source the maiden name is Clerk, which I think is wrong
There are to be found several sources about a Sarah Hammerschlag, née Stern, born in Zimmersrode, living in Holzhausen #geo #typo - not Zimmersrote and not Holzhaus -that seems more likely to me, but according to these sources she was born in 1893 (which is possible, of course, as we know, the prisoners often gave false yob’s in order to survive)

This must be her as well: Sara/Klara Hammerschlag - it’s not quite sure if Sara was one of her real first names or the forced one through nazi law, but anyway it’s more successful to look for Klara Hammerschlag in the possible sources, compare here:
