ab heute befindet sich der Workflow zur Challenge anlässlich des Holocaust-Gedenktags 2026 online. Dabei handelt es sich um Karten des Sicherheitsdienst der Sicherheitspolizei in Belgien. Die Kartei hat der Sicherheitsdienst zwischen 1941 und 1944 in Brüssel angelegt, um die Deportation der jüdischen Bevölkerung zu überwachen und dokumentieren.
Erfasst sind sowohl deportierte als auch nicht deportierte Personen. Der Großteil der deportierten Personen wurde nach Auschwitz verschleppt, vielfach aus dem SS-Sammellager Mechelen. Andere wurden über Lager in Frankreich deportiert. Einige konnten der Deportation durch Flucht oder Untertauchen entgehen.

as of today, the workflow for the Challenge on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2026 is online. It consists of cards from the Security Service of the Security Police in Belgium. The Security Service created the card index in Brussels between 1941 and 1944 to track and document the deportation of the Jewish population.
Both deported and non-deported persons are recorded. The majority of those who were deported were sent to Auschwitz, often via the SS assembly camp in Mechelen. Others were deported via camps in France. Some were able to escape deportation by fleeing or going into hiding.
