Could it be SS Continentale , @routebleue ?
ship name:
I entered „unclear“, because I was unsure if the entry „ex Continentale“ might as well mean "ex continental " ( = sailed from the (European) continent)
This emigrant left Grohn on 23.07.1948 for Antwerp, from there sailed for Canada ex continental on 25.07.1948 (= left the continent) -
I entered these 2 destinations and the 2 dates of departure.
Another (more likely?) possibility:
According to source a ship named „Continental“ (from Antwerp) arrived in Halifax (CAN) on Aug. 4, 1948 (arrival date would match)
It seems to be identical with „S.S. Ancon“ which from 1948 to 1950 was named „Continental“, part of the Arnold Bernstein Line.

with his name on the Arolsen passenger list (title page and here)
Thanks a lot, @velthove1 ! I was still working on my comment. (You always work so much faster than me!)
So see above.
Have a nice Sunday (what is left of it)!
