André Hubert Léon CHALLE (alias „Shuster“) (06.03.1875, Grenoble)
He was a major general and joined the resistance (Libération Nord Movement)
He and two of his sons were arrested on September 28, 1943.
With his son Hubert he was sent to Buchenwald on January 19, 1944.
They were liberated on April 11, 1945. and arrived in Paris on the 18th of the same month.
But Hubert died on the very day of his return.
André Challe died in Bourges on September 28, 1957.
