Ja, sieht aus, als hätte er aus irgendwelchen Gründen seinen Namen geändert.
In solchen Fällen sind meines Erachtens beide Nachnamen sowie beide Vornamen zu erfassen. (Wenn man auf das Plus (+) neben einem Eingabefeld klickt, erscheint darunter ein weiteres Eingabefeld, sodass ein weiterer Name eingegeben werden kann.)

yes as other version (andere Version ) but there is no entry under that version

All the other documents only use the last name „Pawlik“, although his fist name is on some documents given as „Jan“, corrected from „Franz“ (as German version of Frantisek).
I thought at first maybe it all got mixed up and Zajączki (is a place) and Jan could be the name of his father or something, but thats really strange.

I probably doesn’t happen often enough to make 2 versions.
Here he is noted as „Analphabet“, and indeed he signed his Effektenkarte with „+++“. This might have contributed to the confusion because he couldn’t write his name nor read if it is correct on any of the documents.
Indeed, could be a very good explanation for the issue.
