Along with other resistance activists, Kateřina NĚMCOVÁ née ZIMMERHAKELOVÁ, her husband Václav NĚMEC (*10.04.1885) their sons Josef (*16.10.1914) and Václav were arrested on 17.10.1943. The couple and their son Josef were executed at Pankrác on November 8, 1943. Their son Václav was also sentenced to death by the Nuremberg court, but fortunately the execution did not take place and he was acquitted.
