Thanks, velthove, and I really do hope that he was liberated, as mentioned in your link.
In some of the documents above his date of death is given as May 12,1945 (which seemed odd to me)
Could he have died just a few days after his liberation ?
(But maybe he survived? Hope is so precious these days…)
