Sa dernière adresse de résidence est 18 bis, Avenue Charles Rivet à Brive-la-Gaillarde (Corrèze). Le 03/04/1944, il est arrêté par la milice ou la Sipo-SD. Il est déporté avec sa femme et leur fils Francis par le convoi 71 parti du camp de Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis) le 13/04/1944 à destination du camp d’Auschwitz-Birkenau (Pologne).
