Georges was 10 years old, when he was deported on convoi no. 34. As it is often the case, he was all alone. All other family members (his father Szlama, his mother Malka, his brothers Jacques (5 yrs) and Simon (11 yrs)), they were all sent to Auschwitz on different convois.
