OFFENBACH, Genia, 88, passed away on July 27, 2012. Born in Sompolno, Poland, she survived the atrocities of the Holocaust. She came to America with her husband and daughter in 1949 and settled in Miami, where she raised her family in a loving home that was always open and welcoming. She lived her life with courage, generosity and dignity, and she will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she touched. Genia is survived by Rubin, the love of her life and her devoted husband of 66 years; four daughters, Ida Abbott (Myles), Jacqueline Offenbach, Judy Spatz, and Mona Cohen (Kenny); and 10 grandchildren (Jake, Jordan, Yofi, Daniel, Helenka (Rami Shy), David, Andrea, Stephanie, Jessica and Allison)
