Leon WIMBERG

Leon WIMBERG *1926

https://www.ushmm.org/online/hsv/person_view.php?PersonId=3958738

Could this be him? If so, he survived and emigrated to the US.

Eliezer Leon WIMBERG
born 08.06.1925 in Drobin, Plocki, Poland (mentioned in the CLI card, but misspelt…)
Assembly Center „Liebenau, Laufen“ is mentioned in his DP2 card as well.
Note „Mordcha“ (bottom right in CLI card) might refer to his father.

Most likely the same person:
Leizor WIMBERG with date of birth 09.06.1925
and Auschwitz number 77524 (the CLI card says he was liberated from „Oshwewiem“, most likely a typo of Oświęcim/Auschwitz) on ushmm

as Lejzor WYMBERG on base.auschwitz with place of birth Reichenfeld/Drobin

his Auschwitz HPK, with signature „Lejzor Wymberg“ (indexed with last name (misspelt) „Wynzberg“)

[edit]
What about the note in the CLI card bottom right „Leizer (Leon) C 25659“ ?? It obiously refers to another CLI card. Is there any possibility to find it? (I’m confused now, I admit…)
@carola.b, have you got an idea?

Leon Wimberg was born on 08.06.1925 in Plock (he was interned in the Jewish DP camp Ainring on 19.8.1946)
See:

You cannot find the CLI cards of the persons mentioned on the right bottom CLI-cards, unless they are already „processed“, which is not the case (yet)
