Elisabeth (Betty / Eva) Oudkerk (1924 - 2020) - Genealogy (geni.com)

Nineteen-year-old Elisabeth Oudkerk (later Goudsmit) was one of the Jewish nurses in the crèche opposite the Hollandsche Schouwburg who helped children escape into the hands of the Resistance. When she was arrested, in the autumn of 1943, she was taken to the Amstel railroad station, where she was placed in the “mixed marriage group,” but she managed to get away. She immediately turned to Frederick Baller*, whose family she knew from her school days. Frederik, who was in the Resistance, then escorted Elisabeth and her sister first to his home in Amstelveen and, after a few days, to farmers Abraham (Bram) and Annigje (Annie) van Zanten in Nieuw-Vennep, North Holland. After nine months, the local physician warned the van Zantens that their children had been talking in school about their secret guests. As a result, Frederick Baller took Elisabeth to the Rot* family and her sister to the Hultzer* family, both in Aerdenhout, North Holland.

On January 29, 1974, Yad Vashem recognized Abraham van Zanten and his wife, Annigje van Zanten-Vaalburg, as Righteous
