Raimondo Calò, son of Settimio Calò and Clelia Frascati was born in Italy in Rome on January 22, 1939. The entire Calò family was arrested in Rome by the Nazis, and deported to Auschwitz extermination camp. Only the family’s father, Settimio, survived.
