Max BENSINGER, born in Bodersweier, Kehl (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) on 01.07.1896.
He died in Auschwitz in February 1943.
The applicant mentioned in the card is his nephew:
Charles (Kurt) VALFER, born in Germany in 1910.
He died in the USA in 1982.
Charles’ mother Auguste VALFER (BENSINGER), born in Bodersweier (D) on 08.04.1885,
was Max Bensinger’s half sister.
She died in Auschwitz.
Max’ brother Simon BENSINGER died in Kaunas, Lithuania in 1941.
It seems that some of his other siblings and half siblings survived in the USA, Argentina and Germany.
