Marianna Cohen née Polak was part of the Barneveld groep
See:
„About 670 Jewish Dutch survived the war in a special way. They were members of the Barneveld group and were interned from the end of 1942 in castle De Schaffelaar in Barneveld or in Huize De Biezen in Barneveld (Ede). An exceptional position within Dutch society could ensure these people to be excluded from transport. The group consisted mainly of scientists, artists, doctors and industrialists with their relatives. Some 670 people ended up on it, but hundreds of other requests to be put on the list were not honored and many of these people did not survive the war.
But eventually, the 670 privileged jews were deported too, on September 29, 1943, first to Westerbork, where they got their own barracks and did not have to be afraid of being deported to one of the extermination camps. As the group’s deportation continued, they went to Theresienstadt in September 1944.“
