#religion stated as „ev lsr“, couldn´t find

Like you I assume that „LRS“ refers to a sponsoring organization (or similar) and is no part of the religious affiliation.
Details in shipping list ( in the column of „sponsors“):
„LSR“ / „rev. H.M. Schwehn, Lyon, Hannibal, Mo.“ (= Missouri)
In 1950 Hartwig M. Schwehn (1916 – 1968) was a reverend/pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hannibal (Missouri,USA)

Is it possible that he was the responsible acting on behalf of „LSR“ - maybe a (local?) Lutheran aid organization / group of committed members of that Lutheran community?)
[edit]
another idea: " LSR" for „Lutheran S… Reverend“ (Senior Pastor = Senior Reverend ?)
a title given to Rev. Schwehn, mistakenly interpreted as an sponsor-agency and entered as lsr in the Bremen card?

(No idea if this is of any use… but thanks to ENC I have learned a few things about the social commitment of the Lutheran Church/es ! )
Enjoy your WE too!
