The street in Hildesheim has been renamed after the war, it is „Bahnhofsallee“ today (same as before 1933), source

Erna BERG née KOOPMANN
The Bergs went into hiding in the Netherlands and survived the Shoah there.
According to this source they lived in Reguliersgracht 34, Amsterdam from 1943-1945.
In 1946 the family emigrated to the USA.
Erna wrote down her memories in this book.
She died on March 3, 1979 in Chicago.
