“Bernhard Eliasberg can be found in the Vienna records (with JewishGen’s and FamilySearch’s indexing), to have had one child from each of his marriages.
From his first marriage to Johanna née Löwenstein, he had a daughter Martha, born in Vienna on 11 February 1904 (1904 births, part 1, no. 359). According to a note added to the record, Martha was later adopted by Friedrich Hlavac – whom we know was her step-father, Johanna’s second husband; see their marriage of 15 April 1907 (Vienna, district I, vol. P, no. 132; here with the spelling Hlawáč).”
