Paul René BARRÉ born in Trémonzey (Vosges, France) on 14.02.1927  
He was part of the _Maquis_ of Grandrupt-de-Bains with his brother André.  
In September 1944, 216 _maquisards_ including Paul and André Barré had to surrender and were taken prisoners.The brothers went to Dachau together. André died there.  
Paul was transferred to Buchenwald and liberated in April 1945
