Hi Velthove, should I share documents from Persons from norway with you also? Best, Ewei

pls do, @ewei .
Our friend @moewenzahn seems to be very busy with other tasks.

okay velthove, so I sent you those cards. And I hope moewenzahn is doing well.
(And sometimes one just needs a break).

I had a few cards with the remark “escaped” from Kdo … I am wondering if that means the person really escaped (to “freedom”) or is this language of the perpetrator meaning “shot" (or similar). What do you think? I ask you as I know you do a lot of research. I tried to look up some of those persons, but did not find any informations.

I am sorry, Eva. I don’t know the answer to your question.

This report for Auschwitz may give some answers.
Escapes and reports / Resistance / History / Auschwitz-Birkenau .

A very nice day to you.

Hi Velthove,

I was just wondering. And of course I could ask eg Team members from Arolsen. Thank you for sharing this report from Auschwitz. Yes, it does give some kind of answer.

I would expect it means similar situations in other KZs.
I used your link to look a bit into the Auschwitz memorial, some days ago I looked into the web page from KZ Dachau, and found a map with all those KZ-Camps. So many of them where on the territorium of Germany! Not just “far away at the border” but nearly in the center!

Well, thanks for the link. You gave me a bit to think about. My home town has an exhibition since about 2-3 Years. Its got a camp which belonged to KZ Dachau. And I always believed into the “story telling after the War” “we did not know anything”. I am so ashamed.

A very nice evening to you too. Greetings, Eva
