@u.sch shared the card of Wladimir Strashuk - I found his son on Facebook. He had no knowledge of the existence of these documents. I would like to translate the documents for him; most of them are easy to read. However, I could use help deciphering the following document so I can translate the content. Anyone who would like to help is welcome to join. I’m sharing the documents where I’m not entirely sure about the text or the context. Any help is appreciated.

**Transport O** = Ohrdruf?
The list was written on Nov. 7, 1944. - On Nov. 6, 1944 the first prisoners from Buchenwald arrived in Ohrdruf. \[1\]
**Could** match these entries:

 ![grafik](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex013/uploads/arolsen_archives/original/3X/4/c/4cceff9c6d046342d03e14a25c6b2f685e8860df.png) ![grafik](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex013/uploads/arolsen_archives/original/3X/8/3/83d782706dc4748e54e6e012cfa86f0cbe3879d3.png)
There is no Kommando No 93 in the lists below, could be „S 3“ (Ohrdruf) , also see note bottom right [here](https://collections-server.arolsen-archives.org/G/SIMS/01010503/0792/52319419/001.jpg)

I also thought about „Transport Ost“. He then would have been deported to one of the eastern camps and „returned /was evacuated“ to Buchenwald on 15.01.1945? (with pris. number 106305, see [here](https://collections-server.arolsen-archives.org/G/SIMS/01010503/0792/52319419/001.jpg))

**„aufgenommen durch 5026“** : registered / form filled in by 5026 (most likely the scribe’s prisoner number)

= dates followed by a Kommando number
February 22 → Kommando number 30
Sept 2 → Kdo 45
Oct. 23 → Kdo 25
Nov. 7 → „O“ / „0“ ( parallel to „transport O/0“ above? same date?) – Kommando 0 (zero) doesn’t seem plausible to me, see below

Good morning, Mally,

what wonderful news! You can let Mr. Wladimir Strashuk’s son know that he can contact the Arolsen Archives. He can fill out our online form (here’s the link: [https://arolsenarchives.my.site.com/guest/s/?language=en\_US](https://arolsenarchives.my.site.com/guest/s/?language=en_US)). We will then conduct a search in our archives. We may have more records available than are currently in the online archive. We can also help with the abbreviations, etc.

Thank you for your help.

Gabriela Silva

Wow, das sind ja schon viele Infos.

Von mir kommt noch dazu:

26.1.44 Magensaft: frei HCL 35, Blut
geb.

Guten Morgen an alle,

26.01.44 Magensaft: freies HCL 35, geb(undenes) HCL 13, Blut negativ

Thank you all for your help - I really appreciate it. Danke!
@gabriela.silva I will definitely pass this on, thanks for the suggestion. Maybe there will eventually be an option to add Ukrainian as a language for requests.
