Could it be him?  
(Of course there is probably more than one Polish activist with cover name „Kot“ ( = Katze, cat)…)

Antoni FIGURA, alias „Kot“ (10.02.1915 – 28.06.1974)  
in the Polish underground since October 1940  
District V (Mokotów) of the Warsaw District of the Home Army  
Commander of a company fighting against the occupiers in August 1944, during the days of the Warsaw Uprising.
