His name is mentioned in this article (pages 12/13)
On August 10, 1943 he was able to leave Paris for Irún (Spain), along with about 80 other Jewish Spanish. His wife Regina had just died.

Régine PINHAS (born in Turkey on 20.03.1877), married to Azaria CHIPRUT.
She died in Paris (20e) on August 9, 1943 (residence: rue de la Chine)
