A three-storey tenement building on the corner of Jørgen Moes gate, opposite Uranienborg church. During the first years of the war, the Jewish couple Alexander (b. 1881) and Bertha (b. 1887) Rouff lived in an apartment on the ground floor, he an unemployed former restaurateur and hotel owner, she a housewife. Alexander Rouff died on 29 September 1942. Bertha Rouff was deported on the Danube on 26 November 1942 and killed in a gas chamber shortly after arriving at Auschwitz on 1 December. A stumbling block has been placed here in her memory.
