Editha Alice Henriette GOETZ née COHN (born 05.06.1890, Berlin)
She was married to Bruno GOETZ (born 20.01.1881, Briesen)
They had a coal store in Berlin-Zehlendorf, Clayallee 339. Their private address was Knesebeckstrasse 76, later Am Fuchjagd 36. Under the repression of the Nazi regime, they had to move to Nestorstrasse 6 in Halensee.
The couple was already on the deportation list to Theresienstadt for January 26, 1943, but their names were deleted. They were then deported to Theresienstadt on February 2, 1943.(85th “Transport of the Elderly”)
Bruno Goetz was murdered there on April 27, 1945.
Editha survived the camp, moved first to Palestine and later to the USA. (source)
